King of Kinks - the game that promises a harem of sultry anime waifus and fantasy RPG goodness, but delivers… well, a mixed bag of pleasures and frustrations.
Developed by DPH Studio, this Nutaku darling serves up a blend of AFK Arena-style autobattler mechanics with a side of busty elves, flirty succubi, and curvy witches. If you’re here for the art, you’ll stay for the titties - but probably not much else?
Like most of the Nutaku games we've played, it's a typically wacky premise.
If you’ve played AFK Arena or any gacha autobattler, you’ll feel right at home - or maybe just bored. Battles are automated, leaving you to fiddle with character upgrades and resource management while the game casually nudges you toward microtransactions. And boy, does it nudge. If I had a gold coin for every premium offer that popped up, I’d be fucking rich mate.
That said, credit where it’s due: the visuals are pretty decent and the fap factor might tickle your pickle.
Character designs are every bit the eye candy you’d expect, and the animations feel slick. Unfortunately, that’s where the polish ends. The UI is cluttered with blinking red dots, and the tiny battlefield is practically begging for a magnifying glass.
Bugs and crashes on certain platforms (looking at you, Steam) further dampen the experience.
Ultimately, King of Kinks is the sort of game that feels tailor-made for short bursts of casual grinding - if you can stomach the pay-to-win model. It’s shiny, it’s sexy, but it’s also shallow. We’ve seen better from Nutaku, but we’ve also seen worse. Approach with low expectations, and you might just have a little fun.
King of Kinks is an anime-inspired idle RPG, blending strategic gameplay with sexy visuals and an array of (willing) characters.
Clearly designed for fans of gacha and fantasy worlds, Kinks invites you into the vibrant Kingdom of Clouds.
The game begins with a classic fantasy setup: you play as the rightful heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Clouds, tasked with reclaiming your crown after it has been usurped. Along the way, you’ll recruit a roster of powerful and enchanting female warriors to join your army. Each heroine has her own unique abilities, backstory, and sensual flair, making them integral to both the gameplay and the immersive world-building.
King of Kinks is an idle autobattler, meaning most of the action happens automatically. This is obviously an acquired taste, so let's get it out there right away.
You'll be responsible for assembling and upgrading a squad of heroines, balancing their unique skills to maximize effectiveness in battle. The battles occur in waves, with your squad fighting hordes of enemies in real time. While the combat itself is automated, you'll have to do some basic calculations to plan your teams effectively, optimize formations, and so on, to progress through the game.
Even when you’re offline, your squad continues to battle and earn rewards.
The game’s gacha system is obviously going to be make-or-break for most of you. The roster includes an extensive lineup of characters, from curvy witches and battle-ready elves to sultry succubi. Collecting and upgrading these heroines is a major focus throughout.
As with many gacha games, King of Kinks offers a free-to-play experience tinged with "optional" in-app purchases.
You can use real money to speed up progress, and you'll be tempted to at every turn.
King of Kinks has some nice, classic anime-style artwork. Each heroine is meticulously designed and there's plenty of fanservice.
- Idle Gameplay: Progress continues (even when offline!).
- Strategic Combat: Assemble and upgrade your team for optimal performance.
- Extensive Hero Roster: Collect and enhance a diverse range of characters.
- Gacha Summoning: Try your luck to recruit rare and powerful heroines.
- Captivating Visuals: Anime-inspired art and animations.
Pretty much the same as Project QT. All the battles, skills, level design etc. They just reskinned it up
